The Louisville Metro Police Foundation is honored to once again host the Louisville Metro Police Department Awards Celebration. On this very special night, the LMPD recognizes its highest honorees, including Medal of Valor, Medal of Honor, Officer of the Year and Civilian of the Year recipients. It’s also a night for the community to say THANK YOU to these men and women who sacrifice so much to make our city a safer place to live, work and raise our families.

The LMPD Awards Celebration has long served as an opportunity for colleagues and community to recognize the service and sacrifice of Louisville’s real heroes. For some individuals, the night has very special meaning.
