In our continued effort to make Louisville a safer place to live, work and visit, the LMPF is committed to providing our communities healthy, prepared and well-supported officers. To that end, we have established reputable programs that serve the needs of law enforcement and support them on and off the job.
Officer in Distress
The Officer in Distress Fund provides financial support and helps our officers stay focused when they’re challenged with catastrophic circumstances, on or off the job.
Prayers for Police
Prayers for Police provides both our officers and our community with shield prayer cards featuring encouraging, uplifting and often timely scripture.
Summit Wellness Center
Established with the goal of providing a holistic wellness center for our law enforcement and first responder community, the Summit Wellness Center for First Responders provides physical therapy and rehabilitation services, mental health services, financial counseling, spiritual, social support and more for our officers and their families.
