Michelle Rusch

Detective Michelle Rusch, has been diagnosed with advanced stomach cancer. Michelle has devoted her career to protecting children as a member of the Crimes Against Children Unit, fighting fiercely against those who seek to harm the innocent. Now, she needs our support as she faces the toughest battle of her life. Detective Rusch is a light in our community and shows care and love to the most vulnerable as she works to protect them. Michelle is a loving mother to three young children, including her two-year-old son Tate, who has special needs that require immense time and care. She is married to Detective Kent Rusch, and this family that has dedicated their lives to serving our community is now in need of ours. Michelle will soon return to MD Anderson to partner with specialists who can provide the best treatment options.
